WOLTANIC Guarantee Conditions – Installation of Photovoltaic (PV) Systems with Battery Storage

1. Guarantee Period and Scope

Woltanic GmbH grants a guarantee for the photovoltaic (PV) system installation including battery storage performed at the customer's premises for a period of 2 years from the date of commissioning, which is documented in the acceptance protocol.

The scope of the guarantee and liability result from this document in conjunction with the signed acceptance protocol.

The guarantee applies exclusively to materials and components that were delivered and installed by Woltanic GmbH.
Woltanic assumes no responsibility for existing electrical or structural installations of the customer and is not liable for resulting defects, malfunctions or damages.
2. Additional Guarantee Statements

Guarantee Period: Two years from the date of commissioning of the system.

Product Guarantee: The materials and components of the PV system used are free from material and processing defects and function properly under normal use.

Workmanship Guarantee: All installation and assembly work has been performed professionally in accordance with applicable technical standards and regulations and is free from execution defects.

Guarantee Exclusion: This guarantee does not apply to damages or defects that arise from improper use, lack of maintenance, force majeure, unauthorized modifications or interventions by third parties.

Repair or Replacement: In case of a guarantee claim, Woltanic will repair or replace defective parts at its own discretion, without extending the guarantee period.

Liability Exclusion: Woltanic is not liable for consequential damages resulting from the use or operation of the PV system.
3. Service Registrations

Guarantee requests are only accepted in writing:
- via the contact form on www.woltanic.de

The registration must contain:
- Customer data (name, address, telephone number, email, customer number or order number),
- a description of the defect,
- photo documentation or video recordings of the fault.
Oral or telephone reports will not be processed.
4. Response and Processing Time

Woltanic responds to properly submitted guarantee requests within 3 working days (excluding holidays).

Remediation of a confirmed defect takes place within 30 calendar days after confirmation of the report.

In case of longer delivery time for spare parts, the deadline may be extended accordingly; the customer will be informed in writing.
5. Prohibition of Intervention by Third Parties

The customer may not make changes, repairs or interventions to the system himself or through third parties without written consent from Woltanic GmbH.

In case of such intervention, the guarantee expires, and any costs arising from this cannot be claimed against Woltanic.
6. Guarantee Conditions of Equipment Manufacturers

In addition to this guarantee, the individual manufacturer guarantees of the components used (e.g., PV modules, inverters, battery storage, controls) apply.

The customer commits in particular to:
- have the manufacturer-prescribed maintenance performed,
- use only original parts and approved operating materials,
- keep records of maintenance.

If the defect affects a part that falls under the manufacturer's guarantee, Woltanic may forward the report to the manufacturer. In this case, Woltanic assumes no responsibility for response times, processing or decisions of the manufacturer.
7. Exclusions from Guarantee Liability
Excluded from the guarantee are in particular defects or damages resulting from:
- improper operation or use,
- interventions by unauthorized persons,
- external influences (e.g., overvoltage, lightning strike, fire, storm, hail, water, frost),
- errors in power, data or other systems not created by Woltanic,
- use of non-approved spare parts or materials,
- defects in existing installations of the customer.
8. Final Provisions

A submitted service registration does not constitute automatic recognition of a guarantee claim. The final decision is made after technical examination.

Woltanic reserves the right to refuse repairs or replacement if the system has been modified or improperly used.

If it is determined that the deployment of the service team was unjustified (e.g., no defect, operating error), the customer bears the incurred costs according to invoice.

These guarantee conditions do not limit the customer's statutory warranty rights.

For all unregulated points, the GTC of Woltanic GmbH as well as the provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB) and European law apply.
